Gursey | Schneider LLP Base pay range $55,000.00/yr - $70,000.00/yr Responsibilities
Prepare and assist with multi-state and federal income tax returns for high-net-worth individuals, corporations, partnerships, estates, and trusts Support complex tax preparation and tax research and assist in research and analysis Support Senior Staff and Managers with year-end projections and quarterly estimates Assist with new tax compliance approaches from reviews to analysis Conduct thorough research and stay up-to-date with tax laws Liaise regularly with senior staff, managers, and clients while maintaining strong verbal and written presentation skills Qualifications
Minimum of 1-2 years of internship experience in Accounting or Tax-related fields, preferably in public accounting Comprehensive understanding of Tax Law and knowledge in areas such as individual and corporate taxation of pass-throughs, estate and gift tax, investment advisory, and financial planning Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a business-related field Currently eligible for CPA certification or in the process of meeting requirements to obtain certification Proficiency in Excel and Word; experience with tax software such as CCH Axcess is preferred Excellent research, writing, and verbal communication skills Education & Certifications
