We’re excited to announce that we’re on the lookout for a talented and detail-oriented Family Law Paralegal to join our wonderful legal team in Dallas, TX! This position offers a great mix of in-office and remote work, with office days on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and sometimes on Thursdays, and the flexibility to work from home two to three days per week. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to draft important legal documents such as pleadings, motions, decrees, and orders. You’ll also conduct thorough legal research to support trial preparations and help keep our case files organized and accessible. Responsibilities

Proficient in drafting petitions, orders, discovery, and other family law documents.

Select appropriate templates from FormBuilder and create first drafts independently.

Gather complex information creatively, organize and execute tasks efficiently.

Maintain strong attention to detail and accuracy to avoid significant client impact.

Manage multiple cases over extended periods, track key dates, keep stakeholders informed, and prioritize time to meet deadlines.

Treat every case with care and compassion, helping clients at all times.

Show growth mindset, relatability to individuals in crisis, and a good sense of humor.

Perform administrative duties including answering phone calls and maintaining an organized case filing system.

Assist lawyers in trial preparation: organizing exhibits, client meetings, filing motions, researching legal articles, coordinating witnesses, drafting subpoenas, and working with process servers.

Assist in preparing pleadings and correspondence: interrogatories, subpoenas, deposition notices, complaints, pretrial orders, legal briefs, affidavits.

Qualifications

At least 5–7 years of experience in legal services under an attorney or lawyer in a family law firm setting.

Task‑oriented and able to hit the ground running; must be capable of training others.

Experience with Apple products; must be comfortable using Macs.

Talented communicator and writer.

Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.

Proven ability to use supported paralegal software and technology.

ABA‑approved paralegal certificate program, such as an Associate’s degree or proprietary school program in paralegal studies; Bachelor’s degree desired.

Compensation $65,000–$90,000 per year.
