Overview

As a Public Affairs Strategic Program Manager and Researcher, you will be in the front seat of one of Meta’s most strategic initiatives. You will manage complex programs, conduct research, and drive strategic initiatives that support the organization’s goals. You will partner with virtual and in-person teams across time zones and may manage multiple projects pending bandwidth. We are looking for experienced professionals who can partner with cross-functional teams in complex efforts at scale while maintaining clarity and organizational awareness. A high level of business acumen, professionalism, and discretion are required in our team, in an environment that is both fun and collaborative. Public Affairs Manager Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day operations, including defining and driving the cross-functional operating rhythms of the program, such as meetings, escalations, reviews, reporting, and communication channels Support the team’s approach to strategy development, roadmapping, status reporting, performance tracking, and budget management Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and vendors to drive program success Conduct research on various topics, including industry issues and trends, to inform strategic decision-making Minimum Qualifications

8+ years of related experience in strategy, operations, consulting, or program/project management experience, including managing complex, cross-functional work-streams Extensive experience with issue advocacy and/or electoral campaigning Knowledge of tech industry trends and policy issues and experience designing, analyzing, and utilizing data from political polling and message testing to inform advocacy strategies and campaign development Familiarity with electoral cycles and timelines At ease interacting with and influencing multiple cross-functional stakeholders and executives; experience being firm with requests, ensuring follow-through, and communicating change management to cross-functional teams and stakeholders Experience focusing on a wide array of subject matters and track record of embracing ambiguity, driving a team to perform at their best, being detail-oriented, and delivering information in a highly organized manner Experience in pivoting quickly and adapting to business needs while communicating and informing a team of shifting priorities Experience in program management, research, and stakeholder engagement Preferred Qualifications

Experience working at a communications firm or public affairs agency on legislative, regulatory, political or issue-based campaigns Familiarity with driving public affairs campaigns related to technology policy areas such as security, privacy, new or emerging technology, and online safety Experience supporting crisis communications and rapid response efforts Demonstrated experience to adapt to changing priorities and work streams Familiarity and use of AI tools About Meta

Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
