Overview We’re looking for an experienced Global Key Account (GKA) Manager to develop and execute a global account strategy, expand ingredient sales across our B2B product portfolio, and ensure seamless collaboration across all regions. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience managing global customers, delivering strategic multi‑year plans, and identifying market trends to inform innovation.

Responsibilities
Develop and execute a global strategic account plan that drives growth and aligns with both organizations’ goals.
Conduct market analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive threats, and new opportunities.
Act as primary global relationship owner, managing senior‑level customer interactions across procurement, R&D, marketing, operations, and sustainability.
Position Kemin as a strategic supplier and innovation partner, not just a raw material vendor.
Coordinate customer meetings, including annual leadership meetings, innovation summits, trade shows, and recurring interactions.
Negotiate global commercial agreements, pricing, supply contracts, and long‑term collaboration terms.
Build trusted relationships at customer’s global and regional levels.
Drive volume and margin growth via proactive pipeline management and contract optimization.
Provide executive updates on performance, market dynamics, risks, and strategic opportunities.
Collaborate with Regional Account Managers in a team‑selling approach.
Travel up to 20%.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Animal Science, Nutrition, or related field; MBA preferred.
Minimum 8+ years of experience in strategic or global account management, ideally selling ingredients or raw materials to pet food or animal nutrition manufacturers.
Proven success in global customer relationship management, contract negotiation, and cross‑functional leadership.
Strong technical understanding of pet food formulation, ingredient functionality, and quality/safety standards.
Comfortable operating in a matrixed, international environment with global travel (up to 20%).
Valid, insurable driving record and completion of required background checks.
Experience managing sales projects to successful completion.
High energy, project and time‑management skills, strong interpersonal communication, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and relevant database tools.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
A post‑offer background check and drug screen is required. Additional pre‑employment requirements may be necessary based on the position.
