The Regulatory Compliance Clinical Auditor is responsible for performing regulatory compliance activities which include assessing compliance with The Joint Commission (TJC) standards, Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Conditions of Participation, OSHA/FDA/CDC guidelines, HIPAA and EMTALA law, and other external regulatory requirements. Additionally, assessing compliance with facility internal policies through concurrent and retrospective chart review, observing of clinical and operational performance (tracer methodology), and data collection and analysis. Responsibilities include mock survey activities designed to mirror anticipated accreditation, certification or licensure surveys. This position requires onsite presence 2–3 days per week, or as determined by the needs of the organization. Education
Bachelor's Degree in healthcare, allied healthcare, or related field
-or- Completion of an accredited LPN, Physician Assistant (PA), allied healthcare, or related licensed healthcare program
AND
current/active and ongoing licensure Master’s Degree in healthcare, allied healthcare, or related field preferred Experience
A minimum of two (2) years equivalent full-time clinical experience as RN, LPN, PA, or experience in related or allied health care field collecting and analyzing data, preparing reports, identifying and solving problems and conducting educational programs with hospital staff, etc. Prior experience in regulatory compliance strongly preferred. Relevant experience in a health care setting with experience in data collection and analysis preferred. Salary Range
Minimum 37.04/hour - Maximum 61.16/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
