Position Summary:

The Manufacturing Technician performs assembly, repair, testing, and inspection of camera systems and subassemblies using approved work instructions and guidelines. This role ensures accurate completion of quality records, meets production schedule and safety objectives, and contributes to process and product improvement. The Manufacturing Technician also supports receiving, kitting, and new product introduction builds, while providing feedback to enhance production documentation.

Salary Range:

$60-$70k annually, depending on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities:

  • Assemble, test, calibrate, and repair electro-mechanical and optical systems using hand tools, precision instruments, and proprietary test equipment.
  • Set up test apparatus and conduct specified tests of assemblies per approved work instructions.
  • Maintain audit readiness by following all procedures, work instructions, and workmanship standards diligently.
  • Record test results accurately and complete required documentation and quality records.
  • Meet production schedule, quality, delivery, and safety requirements.
  • Adjust and calibrate systems and tools as needed.
  • Troubleshoot and correct discrepancies by adjusting or replacing parts as directed.
  • Provide input to process and product improvement activities.
  • Assist with receiving, inspecting, stocking, and kitting inventory.
  • Support new product introduction builds.
  • Pack completed products, documenting part numbers, serial numbers, revisions, and quantities.
  • Contribute feedback for continual improvement of production documentation.
Qualifications:

Required
  • Associate degree in electronics technology, or equivalent training/experience.
  • Ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment.
  • Basic understanding of continuous improvement concepts such as standard work and 5S, with the ability to provide feedback on work instructions.
  • Ability to read and understand technical documents.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Eligible to work for any U.S. employer.
