Senior Staff Auditor, US Card and Auto Finance businesses (Hybrid). Capital One's Audit function provides independent, proactive assurance and insights to the organization. The role focuses on audits for the US Card and Auto Finance businesses, including operational and compliance-related audits. Responsibilities
Perform risk assessments of business activities and conduct testing based on risks and processes. Communicate issues, risks and recommendations to all levels of management. Operate independently and ensure work is completed to schedule and meets high-quality standards. Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key business partners and the extended Audit team. Leverage data and analytical tools during planning and fieldwork phases of audit delivery. Proactively follow up on agreed audit actions to ensure management delivers commitments within the agreed timescales. Proactively seek learning opportunities to enhance skills and competencies related to the role. Ideal teammate qualities

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or military experience At least 2 years of experience in auditing, and at least 2 years in accounting, financial analysis, risk management, compliance, or a combination Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree in Auditing, Accounting, Information Systems, or MBA Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) 2+ years of experience in banking or financial services, or in a professional services firm serving large banks, or a combination 2+ years of experience performing data analysis in support of internal auditing At this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position. This role is hybrid: associates spend 3 days per week in-person at an office listed in the posting. Fridays are enterprise-wide virtual work days. Monday–Thursday are in-person days for collaboration in team areas. The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries are listed by location. Salaries for part-time roles are prorated. Locations and ranges: McLean, VA: $94,600 - $107,900; Richmond, VA: $86,000 - $98,200; Riverwoods, IL: $86,000 - $98,200. Candidates hired to work in other locations will be paid according to that location’s range. This role is eligible for performance-based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonuses and/or long-term incentives (LTI). Capital One offers a comprehensive benefits package.
