StubHub is seeking Senior Software Engineers to design and develop next-generation technologies and complex features that transform how millions of users explore, interact with, and participate in live events worldwide. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will contribute to the team's commercial and product strategy, balance user needs with sound commercial judgment, and demonstrate initiative and leadership by mentoring teammates and modeling inclusive, results-oriented execution. Location: Hybrid (3 days in office/2 days remote) New York, NY or Aliso Viejo, CA About The Team The Supply team works to simplify the lives of large-ticket sellers, helping them onboard and manage inventory throughout events. The team focuses on reducing seller costs and maximizing sales revenue through automation and fast, user-friendly experiences, with ownership across multiple levels of the technology stack. What You'll Do Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain improvements that span frontend and backend across StubHubs platforms, delivering high-quality outcomes. Collaborate with team members to ensure best practices in code and engineering processes. Manage priorities, deadlines, and deliverables with your technical expertise. Mentor other engineers and help grow the team's technical capabilities, fostering inclusion, results-oriented execution, open innovation, and creativity. What You've Done 5-6+ years of professional software development experience. 2+ years of in-depth experience with React and related toolsets/frameworks. Extensive experience building robust, mission-critical systems using languages such as Java or C#. Experience in one or more areas such as Infrastructure, Databases, Data Processing, Machine Learning, Distributed Systems, Security, or Privacy. Proven ability to design and develop solutions with significant business impact. Strong understanding of how systems interact with broader production environments and dependencies. Proven ability to learn new languages, platforms, frameworks, and tools. Experience owning projects from idea to production. Experience mentoring junior engineers. Range: $200,000$275,000 USD base annual salary. Actual compensation varies by qualifications, skills, experience, and competencies.
