Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (MS RN) Location:

Mount Sinai St. Lukes, New York, NY 10025 Schedule:

Nights, 3x12-hour shifts (weekends required) Unit Census:

Average 22 patients, 29 beds Staffing Ratio:

1:6 Responsibilities: Serve as Charge Nurse when assigned, overseeing unit operations and staff coordination. Collaborate with the Clinical Coordinator, Nurse Manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, or Shift Manager to ensure proper utilization of supplies and maintain adequate inventory for patient care. Identify and elevate any material, equipment, or staffing shortages to leadership. Provide patient-centered, cost-effective care by efficiently managing staff, equipment, and supplies. Accurately document patient care in compliance with hospital, regulatory, and legal standards. Support efficient patient throughput and flow during each shift.

Required Skills & Qualifications: Active New York State (NYS) Registered Nurse License Current BLS certification Minimum of 2 years of Medical-Surgical RN experience At least 1 year of travel nursing experience (required for travel positions; not required for Per Diem roles

Additional Information: 3x12-hour night shifts with weekend coverage required Average unit census: 22 patients; unit has 29 beds Staffing ratio: 1 nurse to 6 patients
