The Foreman is responsible for planning, organizing, and controlling resources for the successful execution of company roofing projects. We are a 25-year-old roofing construction company looking for someone who desires to have input in our expansion and play an integral role in our growth strategy. The Roofing Foreman will lead roofers and laborers in the residential and commercial sector. Qualifications
Minimum of 8 years of experience of Journeyman and/or Trade experience Valid CA Driver’s license with clean driving record OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification Authorized to work in the U.S Bilingual (English/Spanish preferred) Verbal and written skills Ability to lift over 30lbs Ability to use/learn business technology Capable of working at elevations and performing strenuous activity relative to staging, carrying, and disposing of roofing material and equipment Knowledge of low-slope and pitched roofing systems, materials, and installation techniques (single-ply, shingles, ceramic tile, torch down, coatings, and waterproofing) Reliable transportation Job Requirements / Responsibilities
The Foreman directs field personnel, equipment, subcontractors and material flow required to meet specific job assignments. As a Foreman, you will be key to our project success, ensuring high-quality work and customer satisfaction. Supervise and manage a crew of up to 6-8 people, and additional crews as your skill set allows Specifications interpretation Resource planning Lead team training Mentor, motivate, and develop healthy team communication Communicate effectively with the office Job time management and scheduling Decision-making for daily operations Monitor and report daily on project schedule and budget Maintain a working knowledge of plans, specifications, and materials for assigned jobs Perform all other related duties as directed by supervisor Working Conditions
Duties require physical abilities such as safely walking on roofs, climbing ladders, general construction demands. Driver’s License required. Some lifting may be required (30lbs or less) Compensation will be commensurate with experience. 401K, medical, etc. available.
