APP Specialty Care - Neurocritical Care Type:
Full-time (1.0 FTE) Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive inpatient ICU care, diagnosing and treating critically ill patients with complex conditions such as pulmonary, cardiac, neurological, or infectious diseases. Collaborate with supervising physicians, manage sepsis, severe infections, overdoses, respiratory failure, and support ventilatory needs. Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as needed. Qualifications
For Nurse Practitioners:
Master's degree in nursing from an accredited program. At least two years of RN experience or equivalent combined RN and nurse practitioner experience. Current Nebraska RN license or in a compact state. APRNP license required. Certifications: AGACNP-BC, ANP-BC, FNP-BC (with post-graduate certification if applicable). For Physician Assistants:
Masters degree from ARC-PA approved program or equivalent experience with approval to pursue degree. Active Nebraska PA license or eligibility. Maintain CME hours as required. Common Requirements:
Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Effective communication skills. Critical thinking and analytical skills. Proficiency with healthcare information systems. Knowledge of healthcare policies and equipment. DEA license and BLS certification; ACLS required; ENLS within 6 months of hire. Preferred Qualifications
Advanced certifications like AGACNP-BC or ENLS. Prior related healthcare experience. Additional Information
