High School Diploma preferred; may need CPR training
Purpose:
To provide for the students’ safety and needs by supervising.
Essential Functions and Performance Responsibilities Lunchroom Aide
Patrol designated areas.
Maintain a supervised lunch period both inside and outside; student conduct is the direct responsibility of the supervisor.
Enforce good lunchroom manners; running and misconduct shall not be tolerated.
Supervise playground.
Cleaning of lunchroom is not a primary responsibility, but may be necessary at times.
Playground Aide
Patrol designated areas.
Supervise playground by enforcing reasonable safety practices.
Mediate disagreements.
Escort injured students to the school office.
Enforce playground rules and perform additional duties assigned by the principal.
Comply with professional code of ethics and school policies.
Attend staff meetings (as appropriate).
Perform other tasks (as appropriate).
Assume other responsibilities as assigned by an administrator.
