Job Summary:
Serves as principal investigator on major projects for the Division of Research (DOR). Directs lower level investigators, statisticians and programmer/analysts. Essential Responsibilities:
Designs, develops, and directs research for an ongoing program of research which includes major projects. Prepares grant proposals, internal reports and publications, independently and collaboratively. Presents papers at national scientific meetings; teaches and/or reviews papers for national journals. Evaluates and consults on research proposals of others. Mentors/supervises junior level research scientists and technical staff. Provides consultation and data interpretation to TPMG, KFH/P managers and committees. Provides service to the scientific community through membership on peer review groups and national boards. Consults with local, state and national voluntary and governmental agencies. May serve as member of state/national study review panels. Serves on Division of Research committees.
