The Office represents the State of Florida in state and federal civil and criminal courts, from trial courts to the Supreme Court of the United States.
Position Summary This position is in the Office of the Attorney General in the Administrative Services Unit in Tallahassee, Florida.
Pay:
$53,710.38 - 60,440.09 Annually
Qualifications
Seven (7) years of experience in systems analysis, management analysis, program planning, program research, program evaluation, engineering or administrative work; or
A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and three (3) years of professional experience in systems analysis, management analysis, program planning, program research, program evaluation, engineering or administrative work.
A master’s degree from an accredited college or university can substitute for one (1) year of the required experience.
Preference
will be given to those applicants who have budget and cash management experience as well as in the preparation of Schedule I’s for the Legislative Budget Request and reconciliation of Inter and Intra fund transfers for Form3 completion and review Trial Balance.

The Work You Will Do The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following:
Review and process purchase requisitions for budget approval, including appropriate accounting codes.
Preparation of monthly budget projections.
Process request for investment and liquidation of investments as requested. Update and reconcile spreadsheet for invested funds monthly.
Prepares budgetary analyses and reports on funded position contracts as directed.
Complete analysis of quarterly reports to reconcile Inter and Intra fund transfers for Form3 completion and review Trial Balance.
Prepare and disseminate cash activity reports.
Preparation of Schedule I's for the Legislative Budget Request by respective deadline.
Prepare indirect cost Journal Transfers for the Medicaid Fraud Control Unit Grants.
Assist Finance and Accounting in performing various financial analyses and reports for Department managers and staff, including analyzing quarterly financial statement reports of general ledger codes to minimize year-end financial adjustments.
