Location Johns Hopkins Medical Imaging is located in White Marsh, MD.
Schedule Monday - Friday 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Pay Rate $65.00
Responsibilities
Perform all CT examinations according to department procedure manual and established protocols.
Interview patients for history pertaining to CT exam, prepare/ administer contrast media.
Monitor patient for abnormal changes, respond to emergency situations, administer first aid/CPR as needed.
Confirm patient identification by verbal confirmation and visual ID band inspection.
Provide radiation protection to patient and staff according to safety standards.
Assist and/or move patients independently to and from wheelchairs, stretchers and CT scan table.
Prepare patients for procedures according to established Radiology Department protocols.
Visually verify accuracy of radiology order by checking physician's order in patient chart.
Assist radiologists in IR CT examinations including but not limited to biopsies.
Use EPIC to access laboratory results for exam related information.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED.
Registration with the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT).
Minimum of 1 year experience as a CT Technologist.
CPR certification.
CT certification.
