Job Description The

Business Development Representative (BDR)

supports our sales team by building and qualifying the early stages of the sales pipeline. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys outreach, relationship-building, and uncovering new opportunities — whether part-time or as a launchpad into a full sales role.

Responsibilities

Research and identify potential business clients using LinkedIn, databases, and internal lead lists.

Conduct outbound calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach to set qualified meetings for the Sales team.

Follow up on marketing leads and referrals to move them through the pipeline.

Track activities and pipeline progress in CRM.

Collaborate closely with the Payroll Sales team to ensure smooth lead handoff.

Requirements

1+ year of experience in outbound sales, appointment setting, or customer-facing role.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Positive, persistent, and goal-oriented attitude.

Basic understanding of payroll or HR services is a plus (training provided).

Compensation

Hourly pay or small base + commission per qualified meeting and closed deal.

Flexible schedule (10–25 hours/week).

Strong potential for promotion into a full-time Payroll Sales position.
