Application Period: October 20, 2025 until Filled Position Title: Emergency Response Technician (ERT) Paramedic Reports to: Company Officer Position Status: Full-time with hourly wages and benefits Schedule: 12-hour shifts (4 on / 4 off) Wage: Starting Wage between Bottom Step $6,336.96 – Top Step $7,671.06 Monthly Depending on Experience General Description
Scappoose Rural Fire Protection District (SRFD) is seeking motivated applicants for Emergency Response Technician (ERT) Paramedic to join our family. Emergency Response Technician (ERT) Paramedics are responsible for responding to emergency situations as part of a team, assessing/treating patients, transporting to hospitals, responding to rescue and wildland fire calls including REMS deployments, rope rescue, and maritime incidents. Other tasks include accurate and thorough completion of reports, participation in training, and maintaining equipment/facilities. Benefits

Oregon Paramedic license in good standing, valid and insurable driver’s license, HazMat Awareness certification, HealthCare CPR certification, and ACLS and PALS or equivalent. Preferred Qualifications
NFPA Driver or CEVO Certification, NFPA Instructor I Certification, an associate degree or higher in related field, general knowledge of the service area, minimum two years field experience as a paramedic, rope rescue training, REM deployments, and Wildland Fire training S-130, S-190, and L-180.
