About the Role Team Manager, Vendor Consultants Team – RBS AVS. As a Vendor Consultants Manager in Retail Business Services (RBS), you will help shape and deliver the strategy for managing Amazon vendors. The RBS team seeks a customer‑centric, driven, and creative people leader to manage business growth for influential Selling Partners (vendors) on Amazon, ensuring high satisfaction and operational standards. You will manage joint business plans, collaborate on innovation, interface with internal leaders, and lead all operational aspects of vendor relationships. Your team will optimize product lines for key manufacturers across major functional areas, driving the performance of strategic vendor partners.
A Day in the Life
Lead a team of Vendor Consultants, prioritizing strategic initiatives and providing escalation support as needed.
Measure success by team performance and vendor impact on customer experience.
Identify, advise, and take action to improve business input metrics that drive growth and enhance end customer experience, in partnership with other Amazon programs and teams.
Manage end‑to‑end goal setting for the team to align with organizational goals.
Build relationships with stakeholders across the portfolio, proactively developing joint business plan action items and serving as escalation point for issues and concerns.
Define success criteria and understand Selling Partners’ business needs in a changing environment, leading strategic plans and documents for the organization.
Lead recruiting and hiring across the direct team and wider organization.
Manage stakeholder needs and monitor complexity through efficient resource allocation of Vendor Consultants.
Analyze stakeholder satisfaction survey results to identify trends, establish improvement plans, and manage expectations with Vendor Consultants.
Basic Qualifications
5+ years of team management experience.
Bachelor’s degree.
Experience analyzing data and best practices to assess performance drivers.
Experience influencing internal and external stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
3+ years of mentoring, leading, and coaching experience.
Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software.
Experience in digital advertising and client‑facing roles with a focus on data analysis.
