12-month contract to start with the possibility of extension or conversion depending on performance and business needs. Rate: $53.46 an hour Location: Rahway, NJ with up to 20% travel to West Point, PA. Potentially 0% once Rahway site is fully equipped. Job Description

Independently develop, optimize, and validate LC/MS/MS methods for the quantitative analysis of small molecule drug substances (API) or drug products in biological matrices (e.g., plasma, blood, tissue). Support bioanalytical study execution under GLP, including sample preparation, data generation, troubleshooting, and documentation. Perform and contribute to ligand binding assays (LBA) as needed; training will be provided for candidates with limited prior LBA experience. Ensure all experimental documentation meets GLP compliance, including accurate and real-time recording in accordance with departmental SOPs. Prepare bioanalytical method validation and sample analysis reports for regulatory submissions. Collaborate cross-functionally with Drug Safety and Metabolism, Quality Assurance, and Program Management teams. Contribute to the establishment and maintenance of LC/MS/MS and LBA capabilities, including laboratory workflow setup and equipment maintenance. Required Skills

B.S. or M.S. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field with 7+ years of industry experience, or Ph.D. in a relevant scientific discipline (academic or industry experience acceptable). Strong hands-on LC/MS/MS experience (approximately 70–80% of workload). Experience working in bioanalysis of small molecules in biological matrices (e.g., plasma, blood, tissue). Understanding of GLP principles and experience working in a regulated laboratory environment. Proven ability in method development and validation for bioanalytical assays. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office. Preferred Skills

Experience with ligand binding assays (LBA) – training will be provided if not already experienced. Familiarity with Watson LIMS or other laboratory information management systems.
