$22.00-$24.00 per hour DOE

seeks an

Escrow Tax Specialist

to ensure the accurate management of property tax payments and escrow accounts for loans secured by real estate. In this key role, you are responsible for maintaining up-to-date tax information across all applicable loan accounts, coordinating with third-party tax service vendors, and verifying tax data for both escrowed and non-escrowed loans. In addition, you serve as the primary point of contact for the bank’s tax service provider and support internal teams by reviewing escrow analyses, resolving discrepancies, and responding to customer inquiries.

Responsibilities for an Escrow Tax Specialist:

Input tax payment data for newly originated loans, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Oversee the relationship with the third-party property tax vendor, ensuring timely and accurate remittance of tax payments.

Review third-party reports to identify delinquent tax accounts and communicate findings to lenders and/or management.

Review loan accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of escrow analyses.

Balances General Ledgers and deposit accounts related to tax payments.

Respond to customer and internal inquiries regarding real estate tax payments and general escrow account matters, providing accurate information and support.

Ensure full compliance with applicable regulatory requirements as well as the bank’s internal policies and procedures.

Manage special projects, as assigned, to improve loan servicing processes and systems.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience for an Escrow Tax Specialist:

Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school and at least three years related experience and/or training in banking; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
