Develop and maintain standardized component specifications across global projects Collaborate with engineering teams to unify material standards and ensure compliance Partner with supply chain teams to define and drive material standardization Clarify global test methods for critical-to-quality parameters Provide technical support during supplier selection and product approval Negotiate technical requirements with suppliers for optimal quality and cost Stay current with advancements in component technologies and materials Prepare documentation and reports on component performance and standardization progress Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines Your Background

Bachelor’s degree in engineering Minimum of 5 years of industry experience with transformer components and accessories Strong background in supplier technology development Advanced knowledge of component engineering and material specifications Familiarity with SAP S/4Hana and Windchill preferred Excellent communication and collaboration skills Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States Benefits and Information
