Overview
The Department of Cardiology within the Smidt Heart Institute at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Adult Congenital Heart Disease (ACHD) faculty member to join our nationally recognized ACHD program. As a faculty member specializing in ACHD, you will provide expert clinical care for adults with congenital heart disease while collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team to advance clinical innovation, education, and research. You will have opportunities to engage in program development, quality improvement initiatives, and academic pursuits that advance the field and improve patient outcomes. Our Comprehensive Congenital Heart Program offers seamless, lifelong care for patients with congenital heart disease — from fetal diagnosis through childhood, adolescence, adulthood, and into the geriatric years. This continuum ensures every patient receives expert, coordinated care throughout their entire life journey. The ACHD program is closely integrated with our world-class programs in interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, maternal-fetal medicine, advanced heart failure, and transplantation. The Department of Cardiology is one of the largest departments within the Cedars-Sinai Health System with over 170 faculty and has world renowned programs in cardiovascular imaging, advanced heart disease, interventional cardiology, cardiac electrophysiology, women’s health, hypertension, and regenerative medicine. Medical Degree from an accredited medical school Board certification in Adult Cardiovascular Disease or Pediatric Cardiology Board Certification Eligibility for an unrestricted California medical license Demonstrated expertise in ACHD clinical care Eligible for appointment at the Assistant or Associate Professor level Strong academic record with evidence of clinical excellence, scholarly activity, and interest in program development To apply
