Human Resources Manager
Location: Albany, NY (Onsite)

Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm
Salary: $80-90K/year
We are seeking a proactive and personable Human Resources Manager to join our team in Albany, NY. The ideal candidate will have proven experience working in unionized environments and be familiar with the manufacturing and warehouse space. This role is well‑suited for a tech‑savvy, self‑starter who enjoys hands‑on involvement with employees and leadership, and who brings a professional, service‑minded approach to every interaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full‑cycle HR operations including recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, and employee relations.
- Conduct new hire orientations and ensure smooth integration into the company culture and operations.
- Serve as the main HR contact for warehouse and production employees, providing daily support and guidance.
- Administer timekeeping processes, review and verify time cards for accuracy, and coordinate with payroll as needed.
- Act as a liaison for union‑related matters, ensuring compliance with collective bargaining agreements and maintaining positive labor relations.
- Maintain HR records and systems, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with all policies and regulations.
- Support workforce planning, employee engagement, and retention initiatives.
- Manage benefit enrollments, policy updates, and compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Utilize HRIS and technology tools to improve efficiency and reporting capabilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of HR management experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Experience working with unions and interpreting collective bargaining agreements required.
- Strong understanding of timekeeping systems, attendance tracking, and HR best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with an approachable, team‑oriented demeanor.
- Proficiency in HRIS, Microsoft Office Suite, and other HR‑related software systems.
