Position Title: Associate veterinarian

Pay: $150,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinarian to join our team (recent graduates welcome). The ideal candidate will possess a deep love for animals and a commitment to providing high-quality veterinary care. As a Veterinarian, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating various animal health issues, ensuring the well‑being of pets, and educating pet owners on proper care practices.
Our practice counts with full in house laboratory, Ultrasound, ICU oxygen Cage and much more.
Duties
Conduct thorough examinations of animals to assess their health and diagnose any medical conditions.
Administer vaccinations and medications as needed.
Perform surgical procedures, including spaying, neutering, and other necessary operations.
Utilize aseptic techniques to maintain cleanliness during procedures.
Provide emergency care for injured or ill animals.
Develop treatment plans and discuss options with pet owners, ensuring they understand the procedures involved.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of treatments administered.
Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure optimal patient care.
Stay informed about advancements in veterinary medicine and participate in continuing education opportunities.
Qualifications
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary college.
Valid veterinary license to practice in the state of Florida.
Strong knowledge of animal anatomy, husbandry, and handling techniques.
Proficiency in veterinary terminology and animal catheterization methods.
Experience with dog handling and general pet care practices is preferred.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with pet owners and team members.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
