At SAS, we are Innovating Today to Power the Devices of Tomorrow.**Come innovate with us!****Position Summary**The Senior Electrical Distribution Engineer is part of the Infra Electrical Engineering team at Samsung Semiconductor.**Role and Responsibilities****Here’s What You’ll Be Responsible For:*** Develop, review, and approve SAS site electrical specifications and maintenance procedures related to power distribution for waste water treatment facilities and their associated electro-mechanical loads and backup systems.* Develops and prepares engineering designs, drawings, circuit maps, control diagrams, charts, databases, plans, and other documents for transmission and distribution systems, generation and substation facilities* Formulates, prepares, and implements operating and safety procedures and guidelines, and operating manuals for all Samsung Electrical Systems within the facility.* Develop and maintain Samsung’s Power Distribution System philosophy.* Performs complex power system analyses, such as protective coordination, load flow analysis, etc.* Monitor trends in equipment utilization, capacity and performance* Create or perform Change Point Management (CPM) for equipment**Skills and Qualifications****Here’s What You’ll Bring to Samsung:*** Bachelor's or Master's degree in related Engineering field, Electrical or Electronics Engineering highly preferred.* 7 + years of relevant experience with medium & high voltage electrical distribution.Skills, Abilities & Knowledge* General Knowledge of Generators, Motor Controllers, and VFD's.* Knowledgeable in MV Switchgear arc flash protections, Protection Relays* Experience in Commissioning, testing, of HV/MV/LV electrical distribution equipment. (Including creation of commissioning procedures etc.)#LI-NF1*The current base salary range for this role is between $70,480 and $179,090 Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.***Total Rewards**
