UT/UTCD Data Analyst [Level 3]
to work from our office in Houston, Texas.
We provide technology and service‑focused solutions to the international oil and gas industry for over 20 years. The selected candidate will work with project execution teams to ensure the timely and accurate reporting of in‑line inspection results, including reviewing customer requirement specifications, processing in‑line inspection data, analyzing and identifying pipeline features and anomalies, applying industry‑accepted anomaly assessment criteria, ensuring the quality and accuracy of final results, and compiling the results into concise, customized reports for customers.

Qualifications
DA in UT/UTCD technology [Level 3]
Minimum 15+ years working as a UT/UTCD Data Analyst
Solution‑oriented attitude; hands‑on approach; disciplined; team player; self‑motivated
Responsibilities
Check and approve tool performance during PTT
Verify data quality of ILI runs
Perform UTWM, UTCD, and EMAT data analysis
Conduct dig verification tasks at sites and prepare relevant reports
Review software interface and user manuals
Prepare and review DAD quality documentation
Ensure accurate tool sensitivity values are provided to TM in the Tool Checklist
Prepare specific run assessment reports
Identify obstructions in the pipeline and produce technically valid Preliminary/Final reports
Inform HO‑DAD of results and incorporate into reports
Synchronize coordinates with data
Alert R&D and the DA Team Leader/Manager regarding software problems
Update documentation and standard quality procedures
Execute all other tasks as requested by the DA Team Leader, DA Manager, or Executive Team within the assigned role
Qualified Candidates Will Possess
Minimum 4‑year technical or engineering degree (analysis of in‑line inspection data may be considered if case‑by‑case)
Prior certification as ILI PQ LIII Data Analyst in one or more of UTWM, UTCD, EMAT (or ability to become certified)
Minimum 15 years of experience in the analysis of in‑line inspection data
Ability to learn proprietary software platforms; proficiency in Microsoft applications is a must
Proficiency in English, both verbal and written
A professional, detail‑oriented focus and high quality attitude
Ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels, prepare and present to management and customers
Job Requirements
Work extended periods in a stationary position at computers and workstations
Pass vision acuity and color differentiation examinations
Business travel may be required for internal training, meetings, site visits, and customer meetings (international travel may be required)
Work flexible hours based on business and project needs
Work independently or within a team to ensure project success
Physical and Mental Requirements
Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Mobility: Must be able to walk and climb to perform duties, including maneuvering within a refinery or plant environment and accessing elevated platforms via ladders and stairwells
Communication: Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing to communicate effectively
Focus and Multitasking: Ability to maintain focus and multitask effectively
Safety Equipment: Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection, where necessary
Personal Mobility and Reflexes: Sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes (with or without reasonable accommodations) to perform office duties and travel to off‑site locations when necessary
