Overview
The HRIS Technical Specialist - Learning will collaborate with HRIS team members managing enhancements and issues within the Cornerstone learning system and its integrations, as well as working with functional stakeholders and technical team members to manage the rollout of this system to global users. This role will be responsible for designing solutions and configuring proofs of concept for Cornerstone and related technologies to meet business problems and requirements. A comprehensive knowledge of technical concepts Cornerstone, Skillsoft Percipio, Oracle HCM Cloud, Integrations, and Reporting will be required for optimal performance of duties. This role will work with project team members and technical developers, and the ideal candidate will have the ability to interpret business requirements into technical specifications. This role will work closely with business customers, their client groups, Functional Stakeholders, and HRIS team members. This role will partner with HRIS Module Leads and Technical COE Team Members to ensure that the candidate and employee experience is tailored to the unique needs of each division/region/legislation. The HRIS Technical Specialist - Learning will manage subordinate staff-offshore in the day-to-day performance of their jobs as it relates to specific projects. They will ensure that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. This role will require 4-7 years’ experience working with HRIS technologies. Some supervisory/project management experience is required. How you\'ll make an impact
Review and test Cornerstone/Percipio system releases and upgrades, informing functional team members of potential issues, new features, etc. Provide high level explanations of system functionality, so that functional owners can make informed decisions. Proactively engage with functional stakeholders to manage multiple project timelines/training releases and ensure technical deliverables are produced on schedule. Liaise with functional teams on managing technical components of 3rd party vendors (e.g., integrations, content implementations) Inform Functional Team of any timely system issues through resolution Act as Technical Project Manager for all system development initiatives/enhancements, including Technical Design, Implementation/Configuration, UAT Support, and Migration to Production in alignment with Gallagher’s HRIS Governance processes Develop, maintain and update technical documentation and SOP documentation Translate functional business requirements into technical configuration requirements for development/configuration team Design and maintain security roles / permissions for all Cornerstone administrative users Create Training Templates for different training types Develop/update reports to meet requirements Manage operational/production fixes, technical support needs, and escalate/communicate issue status and resolution in a timely manner Provide training and troubleshooting support to Functional Administrative Users About You
Required:
Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field; 5 or more years related Oracle experience required. Knowledge of HR processes and terminology. Experience in AIM documentation methodology. Preferred: Outstanding written and verbal communications; ability to communicate complex technical matters to all levels of leadership, aligning communication style to the needs of the customer Excellent project management skills with detailed understanding of SDLC methodologies, with ability to hold self and project resources accountable for deliverables Good judgment when addressing business requests, responding to inquiries, escalating matters, etc. Strong quantitative and analytical skills Compensation and benefits
