The MST team has a long legacy of supporting the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, commercial and international customers with years of experience in platform operations, engineering and full lifecycle management across domains – air, land, sea, space and cyber.**Qualifications You Must Have:*** Bachelor's of Science degree in Engineering or other related discipline and typically 2 or more years of experience* Higher education may substitute for relevant experience* Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle including how QA fits into each phase from requirements through deployment and maintenance* Knowledge of requirements management, system design, and systems integration* Exposure to planning, conducting and documenting Verification and Validation (V&V) activities* Ability to prepare complex and professional test plans, test procedures, and test reports in order to demonstrate compliance to system requirements* Experience with defect tracking and test management tools* Ability to identify, document, and clearly communicate bugs and issues to developers and stakeholders* Detailed oriented mindset with a focus on test coverage, accuracy and repeatability* Willingness to learn automation concepts and tools* Strong verbal and written communication skills**Qualifications We Prefer:*** Exposure to test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwrite, etc.)* Familiarity with Agile methodologies and participation in Agile ceremonies* Experience working in CI/CD environments and understanding how testing fits into deployment pipelines* Knowledge of API testing tools* Experience working in cross-functional teams and collaborating closely with developers and product owners* Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities may shift quickly* Ability to perform exploratory testing to uncover edge cases and usability issues* Background in the Aerospace and Defense IndustryAt Sierra Nevada Corporation (SNC) we deliver customer-focused technology and best-of-breed integrations in the aerospace and defense sectors.
