ICU - RN- Central Float Pool - Nights 36 hours/week
The RN- Central Float Pool will rotate between three hospitals, with a commitment to work every other weekend, one summer holiday, one winter holiday, two hard‑to‑fill dates, and two Mondays and three Fridays per six‑week schedule. Work shifts may be redeployed up to one hour prior to shift start due to changing staffing needs. The exception to the requirement to work at three hospitals applies to staff selecting to work at Henry Ford Jackson Hospital; due to the distance between Jackson Hospital and the other hospitals in the system, employees committing to working at Jackson will only be required to work at Jackson but will be expected to float throughout the hospital and may be assigned to the level of care they were hired for, or a unit of lower acuity.
The RN provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality, compassionate patient care, utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family.
