The role of the
Loading Dock Attendant
is to contribute to an impressive operation with fellow team members providing exceptional service and organization for our client, incoming vendors. This position involves organization of incoming deliveries, inventory management, customer service etc. Schedule: Monday-Friday: 10AM-6PM Responsibilities
Work with the team on the daily operations of the loading dock, ensuring timely and accurate loading and unloading of merchandise. Collaborate with other team members to coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments efficiently. Maintain accurate records of all shipments, including tracking numbers and inventory management. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations, and report any safety concerns promptly. Maintain the loading dock area for cleanliness and organization, reporting any need for maintenance and repairs to the manager. Years of Experience: Entry Level Language Skills: Proficient in English, both verbally and written Education Requirements: High School Diploma/GED Requirements
Ability to effectively maneuver around the loading dock and various locations both inside and outside while engaging in, bending, prolong standing, running, and prolonged sitting and in all weather conditions. Possess the manual dexterity to operate basic garage equipment, including pay on foot machines and garage barriers Strong sense of customer service Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and push a minimum of 200 pounds Be at least 18 years of age Maintain uniform standards while around account Availability to work rotating Saturday shifts.
