Logistics Manager

at UVeye will play a pivotal role in overseeing and optimizing our logistics operations worldwide, mainly in North America. This position is ideal for a highly motivated individual contributor who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and is passionate about driving efficiency and excellence in logistics operations.

Day in the Life and How You’ll Make an Impact Strategic Coordination

Develop and execute logistics plans for shipping and receiving activities, ensuring timely delivery of materials to meet customer and internal requirements.

Lead cross‑functional collaboration with teams to improve supply chain processes and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.

Manage relationships with freight forwarding companies to plan, schedule, and optimize shipments, including LTL and dedicated shipments.

Analyze transportation quotes, negotiate contracts, and approve vendors to optimize costs and delivery timelines.

Import/Export Oversight

Coordinate all aspects of import and export activities, working with customs brokers to ensure compliance with regulations and timely clearance of shipments.

Maintain accurate documentation for cross‑border shipments (e.g., Bills of Lading, customs declarations).

Inventory & ERP Management

Oversee inventory accuracy and movement within the ERP system ensuring real‑time updates for stock levels.

Conduct regular audits and collaborate with warehouse teams to improve inventory management processes.

Manage and control the period inventory count all over the world.

Data-Driven Logistics

Track and analyze logistics metrics, providing actionable insights to improve operational performance and reduce costs.

Generate and present reports to leadership on shipping performance, inventory trends, and process optimization opportunities.

Serve as the primary point of contact for customer delivery needs, including Amazon system deliveries and custom site‑specific logistical requirements.

Collaborate with suppliers to manage schedules, ensure adherence to SLAs, and resolve logistical challenges proactively.

Operational Support

Assist with onsite setup and support for large‑scale projects, including installation material delivery and equipment staging.

Contribute to the development and implementation of standard operating procedures to enhance logistics workflows.

Track the progress of freight shipments and provide regular updates to the Operations team, ensuring transparency and proactive communication throughout the process.

Support shipping and receiving activities to meet the material delivery requirements for installations and uphold SLA commitments for existing systems.

Assist in managing inventory counts and ensuring accurate maintenance of inventory records within our ERP system (Priority), executing necessary logistical transactions as needed.

Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of logistics operations.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

A minimum of 4 years of experience in logistics, freight management, or supply chain operations.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP systems (Priority ERP preferred).

In‑depth knowledge of import/export regulations, freight forwarding processes, and shipping documentation requirements.

Proven ability to analyze data, identify trends, and recommend process improvements to optimize logistics operations.

Exceptional organizational and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative and proactive approach.

Forklift certification and a valid driver’s license are a plus.

Travel Requirements

10%–15% travel within North America for onsite project support and supplier visits.

Compensation UVeye provides salary ranges that comply with the New Jersey State Law on salary transparency in job advertisements. The annual base salary range for this position is $85,000 – $100,000.
