Job Description Deml Ford is seeking an Automotive Service Technician to join our growing service team. The ideal candidate will be Ford certified, with a strong background in diagnosing and repairing vehicles across multiple systems. This role is key in ensuring customer satisfaction by delivering accurate, efficient, and high-quality service.

Responsibilities

Perform work specified on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy in line with dealership standards

Test-drive vehicles and use diagnostic tools/service equipment to assess components and systems

Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, suspension, brakes, electrical, steering, and air conditioning

Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to ensure customers are informed of additional needs and accurate repair timelines

Provide estimates of repair times and costs when additional service is required

Complete warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications

Maintain high-quality workmanship, thorough documentation, and clear communication

Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment

Qualifications

2+ years of service technician experience preferred

Ford Certification preferred

Prior experience at a Ford dealership preferred

B-level technician qualifications, including diagnostic, electrical, and engine repair skills

Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills, with ability to use electronic diagnostic equipment

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Excellent hand-eye coordination, dexterity, and physical stamina to work on your feet and lift 50 lbs+

Positive, customer-focused attitude with strong communication skills

Ability to adapt to new technologies, procedures, and specifications

High school diploma or equivalent
