As our senior architecture leader, you will spearhead the creation of cutting‑edge technology strategies, frameworks, and roadmaps. Based in Dearborn, MI, this is a hybrid position with a required four‑day onsite presence each week. Relocation assistance may be available for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities

Architect and implement enterprise‑wide technology strategies for manufacturing that are not only aligned with our aggressive business goals but also anticipate future market demands.

Lead the design, evolution, and governance of our enterprise architecture models and frameworks, ensuring seamless integration, optimal performance, and robust information flow across all critical business processes.

Partner closely with senior leadership to craft technology roadmaps that aren't just incremental improvements, but truly transformative initiatives, leveraging emerging technologies to create competitive differentiation.

Proactively scan the horizon for nascent technologies and industry trends, identifying strategic opportunities for innovation that will secure our leadership position.

Cultivate and empower a high‑performing team of architects, fostering a culture of technical excellence, continuous learning, and collaborative problem‑solving to deliver world‑class solutions.

Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders, guiding critical technology investments and advocating for solutions that deliver maximum value and strategic impact.

Champion continuous improvement in our technology processes and practices, elevating efficiency, resilience, and effectiveness across the enterprise.

Embed robust security and regulatory compliance into the very fabric of all technology initiatives, safeguarding our operations and data.

Who You Are You are a seasoned technology leader with a profound understanding of enterprise architecture principles and a demonstrated ability to drive significant change. Your expertise extends beyond theoretical knowledge; you have a hands‑on track record of implementing complex, large‑scale solutions, particularly within the dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering or related field or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.

10+ years of experience including:

Proven Leadership: Extensive, verifiable experience in senior enterprise architecture leadership roles, with a clear history of successfully orchestrating and delivering technology transformations that yielded tangible business benefits.

Architectural Authority: Deep expertise in architecture principles, leading frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman), and methodologies, coupled with practical experience in their application.

Exceptional Communicator: Superior communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences, from engineers to executive leadership.

Strategic Acumen: A natural strategic thinker, adept at translating ambiguous business challenges into clear, actionable, and innovative technology solutions.

Manufacturing Domain Expert: In‑depth, hands‑on experience with manufacturing industry‑specific technologies, processes, and challenges (e.g., MES, SCADA, IoT for manufacturing, supply chain integration).

Cloud Native Visionary: Significant experience with cloud architecture, particularly with leading platforms like Google Cloud Platform (GCP), demonstrating an understanding of scalable, resilient, and cost‑effective cloud solutions.

Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering or related field
