What you will be doing:
Guide the production of architectural project documents.
Communicate and coordinate with clients and other team members.
Provide effective communication of design concepts to the Project Team, Architect Project Manager, Client, Consultants, and all departments.
Assist the Architect Project Manager in the production of contract documents.
Guide Architects in their development and pursuit of licensure.
Complete the required and established CTA QA/QC checklists.
Ensure compliance with CTA QA/QC checklists and procedures outlined in the Architecture Production Handbook.
Adhere to the Architecture QAQC Management Plan.
Facilitate project coordination with the Architect Project Manager.
Adjust project tasks as required by the Architect Project Manager.
Organize project documents according to established CTA production standards.
Monitor the project, identifying items requiring decisions or additional investigations.
Respond to shop drawing submittals during the construction phase.
Review proposed construction details with the Architect Project Manager and coordinate these details with other design disciplines.
Develop project specifications with the Architect Project Manager and coordinate these with other design disciplines.
Monitor time billed to projects and alert the Architect Project Manager if limits are exceeded.
Monitor resource needs and assist in selecting appropriate project team members.
Advise the Architect Project Manager of the need for additional project resources.
Participate in meetings and conferences with Architect Project Managers as required.
Consult with the Architect Project Manager regarding document format, production processes, and resource allocation.
Experience you will need:
A degree in Architecture from a NAAB-accredited university.
Three years of progressive experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience resulting in licensure.
Must be a licensed Architect in Arkansas.
NCARB Certificate and Accreditation as a LEED AP professional desired.
Completion of annual continuing education requirements to maintain licensure.
A solid foundation in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Autodesk Revit, Autodesk BIM Collaborate Pro/Autodesk Docs, and Internet software.
Desirable skills include Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, and SketchUp.
