DöhlerGroup . We’re looking for a passionate and skilled Beverage Development & Applications Manager to join our dynamic team of flavor and formulation experts. In this role, you’ll blend science and creativity to craft innovative beverage solutions across categories including CSD, juice, alcohol, concentrates, and syrups. You’ll have the unique opportunity to lead and mentor a small team while remaining hands-on in the lab—driving development from concept to creation. This is a full-time, on-site role based in our Princeton, NJ office.

Your Responsibilities

Develop and optimize food and beverage applications, ensuring alignment with client specifications and regulatory requirements.

Collaborate with business unit, R&D, marketing, and sales teams to finalize the existent/new application projects and support commercialization efforts.

Conduct application trials, recipe optimization and stability testing to evaluate flavor and specialty ingredient performance in different matrices (i.e. beverages, concentrates, syrups).

Provide technical support and training both internally (to cross-functional teams) and externally (to clients) – on food and beverage application and stability considerations.

Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and client meetings as a subject matter expert.

Work with the Head of development and applications to execute strategy within the region.

Mentor, maintain, and train early career developers on project management and the Döhler systems and processes.

Salary Range - $160,000 – 180,000

The compensation range provided reflects the expected base compensation only and does not include potential bonuses, incentive plans, or benefits. An individual’s final compensation offer will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to education level, relevant experience, training, and geographic location.

Your Profile

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in food science, Chemistry, or a related field.

At least 5 years of experience in food or beverage applications with at least 3 years of professional experience in a management position

Strong team and project management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Proficiency in analytical techniques related to taste and shelf stability assessment.
