Tarvos Talent is seeking a dynamic Tax Manager for an exciting opportunity in the Austin area. This role has opened due to the company's expansion and internal restructuring, offering a unique chance for professional growth and development. As a Tax Manager, you'll join a forward-thinking organization that values innovation and strategic thinking, providing a supportive environment with competitive compensation and flexible work arrangements. In this pivotal role, the Tax Manager will oversee tax provision processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance while collaborating with external providers. This position is ideal for someone with a CPA and 8-10 years of experience, particularly those with a background in public accounting. You'll have the opportunity to streamline processes and integrate technology and data management solutions, making a significant impact on the company's future. Key Responsibilities: Review and sign off on tax provisions, ensuring compliance and accuracy. Collaborate cross-functionally with various departments and external providers. Lead process improvements and technology integration for enhanced efficiency. Manage and own the tax provision and compliance processes. Ideal Candidate: Holds a CPA with 8-10 years of relevant experience. Possesses strong strategic thinking and project management skills. Demonstrates leadership qualities and the ability to motivate a team. Comfortable with Power BI, Snowflake, and advanced Excel formulas; Alteryx experience is a plus.
