The Registered Nurse Weekend Supervisor would be responsible for supervising the day-to-day nursing activities of the facility during your tour of duty in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern the facility, and as may be required by the Director of Nursing, to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times. Responsibilities
Supervise day-to-day nursing activities during your tour of duty. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations. Maintain a high level of quality care at all times. Qualifications
Must possess a current and active license in good standing to practice as an RN in the applicable state. Must maintain current CPR certification. Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language. Experience in a hospital, long-term care, or healthcare-related facility. Knowledge of general, rehabilitative, and restorative nursing and medical practices, procedures, laws, regulations, and guidelines governing long-term care facilities. Ability to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of residents. Strong teamwork, leadership, and supervisory abilities. Ability to make independent decisions when necessary. Ability to relate information concerning a resident's condition to appropriate personnel. Willingness to seek out new methods and principles and incorporate them into nursing practices. Education and Experience
Must possess, as a minimum, a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university. Must have, as a minimum, one (1) year of experience as a supervisor in a hospital, nursing care facility, or other related health care facility.
