CVOR Tech - Surgical Services

Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule Day shift, five days per week from 07:30 to 16:30.

Job Description The CVOR Tech will work in the Surgical Services department, focusing on cardiovascular operating room procedures. This role requires robust technical skills and the ability to assist surgical teams effectively. Candidates must demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to patient safety.

Responsibilities

Assist in cardiovascular surgical procedures, ensuring a sterile environment.

Collaborate with surgical teams to provide optimal patient care.

Monitor ECG rhythms and assist with safe medication administration.

Participate in departmental meetings and continuous education.

Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Minimum of 18 months of recent CVOR Tech/SA experience is required, with specific vascular experience.

Previous permanent CVOR Tech/SA experience is mandatory before applying for travel positions.

Current certification in BLS and ACLS is preferred.

Must be able to provide a reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty.

Successful completion of the ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation is required.

Availability to work at least every other holiday is expected.
