Project Manager Responsibilities The Project Manager is directly responsible for the overall success of their projects. Core responsibilities include:
Estimating, budgeting, procurement, change management, scheduling, and managing payables and receivables.
Providing oversight and support to field operations including safety, quality, and proper coordination of all work at the jobsite.
Managing and mentoring Assistant Project Managers and Project Coordinators.
Cultivating and maintaining sustainable working relationships with design professionals, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively under time pressure.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Capacity to develop and update project schedules.
Ability to monitor and maintain quality and safety.

Must work efficiently and diligently under minimal supervision.

Qualifications
Undergraduate Degree in Building Construction or a related field.
Commercial construction experience working for a General Contractor as a Project Engineer, Assistant Project Manager, or similar role.
Direct supervisory experience managing subcontractors.
Proficiency using a personal computer, tablet, and smartphone.
Experience using Procore, Smartsheet, and Building Connected.
Proficiency using spreadsheets is required.
Frequent overnight travel throughout the US to visit project sites; expected range of travel is 4 to 8 nights per month.
