About the Role We are looking for a passionate Assistant Cultural Ambassador who strives for excellence in a fast‑paced work environment. This position reports to our Director of Hawaiian Programs.

What You Will Do Gives visitors and employees a sense of place; along with the ability to identify, appreciate, and share the history and culture of Maui.

What You Bring

High school diploma or equivalent with a good working knowledge of Hawaii, with preference given to knowledge of South Maui.

Hawaiian cultural knowledge and experience (e.g., knowledge of Hawaiian arts and crafts – ability to perform or demonstrate, and teach the art or craft, hula expertise, ukulele knowledge, storytelling experience, knowledge of wayfinding, outrigger, etc.).

Computer literacy, including basic Word and Excel. Organizational and time‑management skills, with the ability to work well independently and has the initiative to plan proactively.

Strong communication skills, including public speaking and interacting with guests.

Flexibility to work weekends, nights, and/or holidays.

Ability to play ukulele and/or guitar preferred.

Knowledge of Hawaiian language preferred.

Hourly rate: $27.81.

Schedule & Hours

Casual.

The hospitality business functions seven (7) days a week, twenty‑four (24) hours a day and scheduled days and times may vary based on need.
