The Northmoor Country Club Leadership Development Program (LDP) is an internship designed to cultivate the next generation of club management professionals through immersive, hands‑on training and mentorship. The program provides participants with rotational experience across key operational areas, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of private club management while developing leadership, financial acumen, and member service excellence. Program Objectives

Develop future leaders with a strong foundation in private club operations. Expose participants to the full spectrum of hospitality services offered at Northmoor. Strengthen participants' skills in leadership, team development, and operational excellence. Equip participants with the financial and strategic tools required for effective management. Provide participants with a defined pathway toward career advancement in the private club and broader hospitality industry. Rotational Training Components

Planning & Execution of Banquets, Weddings, and Member Events

Planning and execution of banquets, weddings, and member events. Coordination with culinary, service, and banquet teams. Exposure to vendor partnerships and event logistics. Understanding member dining preferences and service standards. Training in both casual dining and fine dining operations. Focus on delivering personalized member experiences. Golf Outings & Tournaments

Supporting event coordination between golf, F&B, and member services. Learning operational flow for large‑scale outings and tournaments. Exposure to seasonal programming and special events. Beverage Inventory & Management

Hands‑on training in ordering, receiving, and stock rotation. Learning cost‑control strategies and vendor relations. Exposure to wine and beverage program development. Staff Training & Development

Supporting onboarding and training initiatives. Coaching and mentoring seasonal and part‑time staff. Learning Northmoor's standards of service and culture‑building practices. Systems & Processes

Implementation of service systems and workflows. Evaluation and refinement of operational processes. Introduction to technology platforms supporting club operations. Exposure to budgeting and forecasting. Understanding labor management and scheduling for efficiency. Reviewing Profit & Loss (P&L) statements and identifying cost‑saving opportunities. Candidate Requirements

Recent graduate in Hospitality Management (or a related field). Previous work or internship experience at a luxury hotel or private club is a strong plus. Demonstrated passion for service excellence and leadership in hospitality. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required in club operations. Program Features

Duration: 12–24 months (customizable based on candidate background). Mentorship: Direct mentorship from senior leadership and department heads. Evaluations: Regular performance reviews and feedback sessions. Capstone Project: Participants complete a project focused on operational improvement or member experience enhancement, presented to leadership at the conclusion of the program. Graduates of the LDP will be well‑prepared for managerial roles within Northmoor Country Club or the wider private club industry.
