We are seeking a Software Engineer in Test to support the Versana Engineering Team in the development of automation frameworks, and design and development of test scripts to ensure quality and performance of our software applications. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in test automation frameworks, programming skills, creating performance testing frameworks and experience working in Agile development environments. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain test automation frameworks and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines. Support Scrum Teams in API and UI testing on new and existing software and applications. Review quality related deliverables, provide feedback, and ensure that the project aligns with industry standards and best practices at all stages of application lifecycle. Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and create effective test plans. Develop and maintain performance testing framework and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines. Work with Domain teams to understand workload models for each system and gather Performance Requirements. Conduct system performance testing to ensure system reliability, capacity, and scalability. Create performance test plans and scenarios and develop test scripts in Jmeter/K6 to meet the objectives of the performance test plan. Perform Load tests using Load Runner and analyze root causes of performance issues and recommend corrective actions. Analyze test results, identify performance bottlenecks, and provide detailed reports to the development and management team. Ensure software meets quality standards by working closely with Agile Scrum teams.
Must Haves
Bachelor's degree with 3 years of experiences required. Strong background in Java and Unit Testing. Strong background in Performance Testing. Strong background in web and API testing tools. Strong organizational, planning and analysis skills. Prior testing experience in backend testing processes, including large data validation efforts. Prior experience in Performance test scripting using JMeter, K6, and other tools. Prior experience working with any APM tool. Prior experience with Continuous Integration (Jenkins or similar tool) and Continuous Testing. Hands?on experience with test processes and methodologies, testing techniques and software test tools used for software testing life cycle.
