Business Solutions Manager at Adams & Martin Group Litigation Legal Secretary - Civil Litigation Firm (Downtown San Diego)

Salary: Up to $90,000 annually

Location: Downtown San Diego, CA

A well-established civil litigation firm located in the heart of downtown San Diego is seeking a skilled and experienced Litigation Secretary to join our dynamic legal team. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about supporting attorneys in all phases of litigation.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare, proofread, and file legal documents with state and federal courts, including e-filing.

Support attorneys with trial preparation, including exhibits, witness lists, trial binders, and coordination with clients and experts.

Manage attorney calendars, schedule depositions, hearings, and meetings, and track critical deadlines.

Transcribe dictation and draft correspondence, pleadings, and discovery documents.

Organize and maintain case files (physical and electronic) using Worldox or similar document management systems.

Communicate professionally with clients, courts, and opposing counsel.

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years' experience as a litigation secretary in civil litigation.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Strong working knowledge of Worldox or other document management systems.

Excellent understanding of court rules and procedures, including e-filing in both state and federal courts.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines with accuracy.

High level of discretion and professionalism in handling confidential information.

Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently.
