Upperline Health is seeking a well?trained Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) to provide comprehensive foot and ankle care. This position covers a full spectrum of medicine, from comprehensive examinations to non?surgical and surgical management of all foot and ankle conditions. The candidate must demonstrate compassion, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment. As Upperline expands, this individual will have opportunities to explore a wide range of career prospects within the company. What Youll Be Doing Assess patients presenting lower?extremity complaints, review medical history, conduct a physical examination, order appropriate imaging or labs, and develop and implement a clinical plan of care. Provide comprehensive podiatric care, including at?risk foot care, painful foot and ankle conditions, trauma, wound care, and, when appropriate, surgical management. Perform surgical services as permitted by your scope, education, training and experience. Educate patients and families on foot care, general wellness, medication usage, side effects, adherence and prevention. Maintain patient medical records and documentation in compliance with state regulations and Upperline standards. Participate in continuing education required by the State Board of Podiatric Medicine. Prescribe medication as permitted by the State Board of Podiatric Medicine. Perform other related duties as deemed necessary.
Experience and Qualifications
Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) with appropriate certification and licensure. Active DPM license preferred; ability to obtain within applicable timeframe. Board qualified or board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine (ABPM) and/or the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery (ABFAS); RRA/Foo certification desired. DEA registration or eligibility required. CPR certification expected. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong compassion for patients and families. Competitive salary range of $134,000$348,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
