Become part of an exciting directorate within the Digital Technology Engineering Enablement & Solutions team. The EE&S Platform Engineering pillar seeks an early career individual with technical talent to deliver service-oriented capabilities, foster a collaborative learning culture, and enable high-quality continuous software and feature delivery. This position is responsible for deployment, support, and performance of the next generation business integration tools.

Responsibilities
This is a hybrid position in Puerto Rico
Provide IT systems administration for the eQube DaaS platform hosted on AWS Linux environment
Install logging, monitoring, antivirus, and other software to keep the infrastructure in compliance with Collins standards
Work with Cybersecurity, GT, and the ATO office as required to maintain compliance
Develop and maintain automation scripts to deploy the eQube DaaS platform and applications built on the platform
Monitor infrastructure health and scaling needs
Own tickets on infrastructure stability and network issues
Collaborate as a team member in a fast-paced environment; use troubleshooting techniques to resolve technical problems of moderate to high scope and complexity, including OS and application integration
Systems are operational 24x7 and may require work outside standard hours
What You Will Learn
You will grow as a software engineer while contributing to both the company's goals and your personal career objectives
Qualifications YOU Must Have:
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience
Experience with DevSecOps
Experience with infrastructure/application administration
Qualifications We Prefer:
Experience with Cloud Computing
Experience with Linux
Experience with containers
Operating System Proficiency: Linux and Windows in traditional and containerized environments
Cloud Services Expertise: AWS scripting (CloudFormation or Terraform), Azure, Kubernetes
Database Management: MySQL databases – setup, management, troubleshooting
Project Management Tools: Atlassian Suite, GitLab
Scripting Languages: Perl, Python
DevSecOps: CI/CD pipelines, security automation, infrastructure as code (IaC)
