Preop Nurse RN/Rotating Charge RN | FT Days

Preop Nurse RN / Rotating Charge RN – Full Time Days Join UF Health as a Pre‑operative RN responsible for nursing care of surgical patients and serving as charge nurse when assigned. The RN maintains overall accountability for assigned patients, delegating tasks as appropriate.

Qualifications

Education:

Associate’s degree in Nursing from an accredited school. BSN degree required within three (3) years for new hires after June 14, 2017; 2013‑June 2017 hires must comply with offer letter conditions. Grandfathered uses: hires before August 1, 2013.

Preferred Education:

BSN

Licensure/Certifications:

Florida RN license. BLS, ACLS, and PALS from American Heart Association required within six (6) months of hire or transfer. Fellowship RNs must obtain ACLS and PALS within six (6) months.

Experience:

Less than one year related experience preferred. 1 year of clinical experience preferred.

Skills:

Demonstrate teamwork, professional communication, willingness to learn, adaptability to change.
