Job Details We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Consulting Electrical Engineer specialized in Satellites (PCA & PCB layout) to join our innovative Engineering team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the design, development, and implementation of cutting‑edge satellite technologies, including analog circuits, microcontrollers, embedded systems, SMPS, and load switch.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and test all aspects of electrical components, equipment, and machinery related to satellite systems.
Apply principles and techniques of electrical engineering to accomplish goals.
Use computer‑assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks.
Direct and coordinate manufacturing, construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements.
Design and implement PCA & PCB layouts for satellite systems.
Collaborate with project managers and other team members to design and implement solutions that meet client needs and expectations.
Apply expert knowledge of analog circuits, microcontrollers, embedded systems, SMPS, and load switch in the development and implementation of satellite systems.
Provide high‑level advice and solutions to complex engineering problems.
Prepare and study technical drawings, specifications of electrical systems, and topographical maps to ensure installation and operations comply with standards and customer requirements.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in satellite technology and integrate new discoveries into the design process.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree or Ph.D. is an added advantage.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the engineering industry.
Proven experience with analog circuits, microcontrollers, embedded systems, SMPS, and load switch.
Proficiency in PCA & PCB layout design for satellite systems.
Strong knowledge of electrical manufacturing processes and systems.
Excellent problem‑solving abilities and experience with complex transactions with little oversight.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate complex engineering concepts and solutions.
Proficient in using computer‑assisted engineering and design software.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Detail‑oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
Excellent analytical and mathematical skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
