QA Tester
Location:
Little Rock, AR, US
As a QA Tester, you will ensure overall quality and reliability of software products supporting the Arkansas Judiciary. The court management program is a cloud‑based system.
Job Duties
Develop and implement test plans, test cases, and test scripts for functional and non‑functional testing.
Perform testing and debugging of new and existing application software.
Design, execute, and automate API testing using XUnit and manual testing using Postman.
Collaborate with developers and platform engineers to integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline.
Identify and report defects, track and prioritize issues, and ensure timely resolution.
Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance product quality and efficiency.
Stay current with industry trends and best practices in QA and test automation.
Develop and evolve test plans for complex applications.
Deconstruct solutions into tests that optimize for coverage and risk.
Create trusted test automation with high reliability and relevancy.
Extend test automation frameworks to incorporate new functionality.
Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or related field.
Experience as a Quality Engineer or similar role.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
.NET unit testing frameworks.
End‑to‑end functional UI automation using Playwright.
React framework with React Testing Library, Jest.
Accessibility tools such as Idit and Axe.
Testing C#, TypeScript/JavaScript, CSS, HTML.
API testing including .NET, C#.
Applications native to AWS cloud.
PostgreSQL database systems.
Version control with Git.
AWS Lambda services.
Skill Matrix
Experience testing native AWS cloud applications – 2 years required.
Experience with AWS Lambda – 2 years required.
.NET unit testing frameworks – 4 years required.
Playwright UI automation – 4 years required.
React framework – 4 years required.
React Testing Library/Jest – 4 years required.
