Job Description
The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) team is seeking a skilled Delivery Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with customers to design, implement, and manage AWS solutions that meet their technical requirements and business objectives. You will be a key player driving customer success through their cloud journey, providing technical expertise and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
Base pay for this position ranges from $118,200 per year in our lowest geographic market up to $204,300 per year in our highest geographic market.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs.
Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective migration strategies.
Act as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologies.
Share knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creation of reusable artifacts.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, economics, computer science, data science, engineering, or related field.
3+ years of architecting/operating solutions built on any cloud provider (Azure, AWS, GCP, OCI, etc.).
3+ years of experience in application security frameworks, identity and access controls, incident response, mobile security, cloud computing and security, AI security, threat intelligence, and penetration testing.
1+ years in automating security operations including scripting and automation to build scalable and secure environments, automating security assessments and remediation workflows, and implementing security policies as code.
1+ years in advanced incident response leading detection and analysis efforts and managing eradication processes.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience designing and building applications using AWS services such as Lambda, Elastic Beanstalk, and Kubernetes.
Experience in automation through DevOps scripting (e.g., shell, python, ruby, PowerShell).
AWS Professional level certifications such as Solutions Architect Professional, DevOps Engineer Professional, or Certified Security Specialty.
Implementation experience with enterprise security solutions (WAF, IPS, anti‑DDOS, SIEM).
Experience with compliance & security standards including PCI DSS, ISO 27001, HIPAA, and NIST.
