Assistant or Associate Professor, College of Nursing Join the College of Nursing at the University of Kentucky. The position is a full‑time, 12‑month Regular Title Series, tenure‑eligible open‑rank appointment of Assistant or Associate Professor.

Job Summary The College invites exceptional candidates to apply. The successful candidate will demonstrate evidence of grantsmanship and productivity in health‑related research, a commitment to education, and collaborative research and scholarship. The candidate may teach at the graduate and/or undergraduate levels, actively participate in service to the university and the profession, and promote community among faculty, staff, trainees, and students. The position is based in Lexington, KY, and requires an on‑site presence. The start date is no later than July 1, 2026, with earlier start negotiable. Research start‑up funds are negotiable. The applicant must hold or be eligible to obtain an active Kentucky registered‑nurse license.

Required Education A PhD in nursing is preferred, or a PhD in an associated field with a master’s degree in nursing.

Required Experience

A record of collaborative extramurally funded research and scholarship.

Experience as an educator with a track record of service to the nursing profession.
